The Centre forms an important part of the industrial landscape with responsibility for recognition and management of business risks and also has interaction with portfolio bodies that have special significance such as the Australian Industrial Relations Commisson, the Australian Human Resource Institute, the Small Business Councils and following July 2009 working within the Fair Work Australia framework. These are the bodies responsible for the development and execution of industrial matters and whose responsibilities have significant impact on the ability of the Centre to undertake their business.
